Outsatnding Hotel, excellent location. The Hotel is modern, open plan, airy. The staff were kind, hospitable and really exceptional. They worked so hard to please beyond expectations. One of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten. Restaurant and food exceptional. Room was clean, very spacious and had some of the nicest Scottish soaps.

Overall don't miss the opportunity to stay in one of Scotland's finest hotels - enhanced with wonderful dedicated staff

stayed with my husband for one night, was expecting the rooms to be really special but was dissapointed, it was like a travel lodge room exept with a mini bar. bathroom was a bit on the small side, the hotel itself was bright and spacious and the staff were excellant. be careful of the drink in the glass box above the mini bar (looks like they are complimentray but there not). nice hotel but rooms dissapointing. credit card was also charged twice had to sort it out with card company.

If you are looking at the reviews of this hotel then I can confirm that they are all true this hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquilly I would like to thank all the staff for their professional manner and excellent service.

I am married to a Glaswegian and they never cease to amaze me! Glasgow is a great city and the Raddison is a gem of a hotel don't look any further this is where you would want to stay.

One slight problem was I booked a modern room and got a contemporary one (hardly the end of the world) the one thing I found out was that everything in your room works!! I've stayed in many hotels over the years and there is usually something not working but not here.

To finish thanks for a great stay we will be back!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it!

Just a stone's throw from Central Station, shops, bars and restaurants the hotel is ideally placed for anyone wanting to get out and explore the city, be it during the daytime or at night. As we travelled to Glasgow by train, being just around the corner from the station was ideal as we could just walk to the hotel from the train.

On arrival there was a slight mix-up with our rooms, as we requested a non-smoking and we were given a smoking room (and there is a big difference only in the fact that as a non-smoker the smoking rooms smelt of smoke: not pleasant). However, this was resolved straight away with no fuss. The staff were very friendly, helpful and discreet and very professional indeed- what one would hope for from a 5* hotel.

The room was great, perhaps a little on the small side, but that was more than made-up for by the huge bed and floor to ceiling window that took up most of one wall. The drapes were of excellent quality and the bed very comfy. Lots of lighting options as well, so the room didn't feel too 'hotely'. Great bathroom with mirror lights, marble sink, and heated floor (very nice), and a speaker there too so you can listen to the radio in the bath! The cosmetics provided were also very nice indeed, and gave me just another excuse to wear the complimentary slippers and robes.

The hotel has 2 great bars and 2 nice restaurants. The Collage Restaurant is much better than I expected it to be (as hotel restaurants are often pretty dull), and the local produce was delicious! The bars are fantansatic! Very chic, with fab cocktails. Yes, much time was spent there. Breakfasts were something to behold! With a hot and cold buffet, one cold enjoy as much or as little fresh fruit, patisserie, bread, cheeses, fish, meat, musesli and juices. In the hot selection again there was fine black pudding, scottish sausage, eggs and the usual sausages etc. There was also the option to order seperately from a menu including kippers and porridge, but I didn't try this. The room service menu was extensive, and dishes could be ordered 24hours. Again I didn't try this service.

I had a wonderful stay in the hotel, and despite the central location, it was also a very peaceful one. I didn't try the leisure facilities but I was well-informed they were very plush indeed. Just what you want from a 5* hotel and more! As we were staying fri, sat and sun evening, we enjoyed a discounted rate (£95 with breakfast) which was very good, but the midweek rate was a little steep(£195). Would definately recommend this hotel to all my friends, and if in town will stay again!

  • Liked — Attention to detail, overall quality, the bars, the stunning lifts!
  • Disliked — Room slightly on the small side.

My husband and myself have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and love it!! The location is very central to all attractions in Glasgow and right beside the train station. Parking is beside the hotel and you get your ticket validated so it only costs £5 for 24 hours, this is good value for Glasgow! The hotel is very modern and the rooms are great. We particularly loved the heated bathroom floor! There is a good leisure complex with friendly staff.A spa is also located in the leisure area which I have used before and is super. My only grumble would be that on all our previous stays the breakfast was fab but for some reason this time it was not quite up to standard, it was in actual fact very poor, which was a bit of a disappointment. Having said that I love the hotel and will stay there again very soon.
