My partner and I stayed at the Radisson for 2 nights in February 2005. We loved the hotel, decor was great, rooms very spacious, very modern, fantastic and very tasty buffet breakfast(included in our stay) and staff were all excellent. Got late check outs on the sunday and breakfast was carried through till 1.30pm... great if u wana relax and lie in. However drinks and other food/meals inside hotel very expensive. Be careful not to remove anything from minibar, they will charge you, even for peanuts, which we thought were complimentary. Wetherspoons pub across the road is ideal!

The main problem we found was the leisure facilities.... you have to go down about 5 flights of stairs and through several doors to get to them, no clear directions or arrows to get there, (we opened one door and quickly closed it - it was a wedding reception!) When we eventually got there, swimming pool was small, no steam room, small sauna, very cramped. No privacy as everyone watching you from the huge windows in gym... Facilities are not exclusively for hotel use as the club is for other members (there is an entrance to it on the street also.) My partner and I were dissapointed because for such a top notch, stunning and attractively decorated hotel, we expected the leisure facilities to be better. We only used them once in our stay. Fabulous hotel if u wana live the high life for a weekend but dont expect much from leisure facilities.

It is obvious as soon as you enter this hotel that customer service is of paramount importance. Every member of staff is pleasant, courteous and helpful and only downfall on service side was on Friday evening when we had a drink in the main foyer bar and the waitress failed to return with our change. Perhaps that's our fault for not simply putting the charge onto our room number, which is what we did the following evening.
The rooms are large, scrupulously clean and well provided (even had an iron and mini ironing board which is a great asset). Water pressure is perhaps a problem as both in room and in leisure centre, the shower was not particularly powerful, but this isn't a big deal.
We ate in the Collage restaurant on Friday evening and it was excellent - perfect service, great food and nice extra touches such as variety of fresh breads and some tasty olives. Breakfast is also first class (skirlie - an inspired inclusion!)
Overall, a polished performance from highly trained staff and would definitely recommend.

My wife and I have just enjoyed 3 nights at the Radisson in Glasgow. The room, service, and food, were all excellent. On the second night we heard a lot of noise on the street outside, which turned out to be a large crane being assembled - with lots of banging and hammering. When we phoned the desk to see if we could moved, they said they'd look into it, and phoned back within a few minutes to say OK. A few minutes later someone came to our room with the keys for our new room, and couldn't have been more apologetic about something which was beyond the control of the hotel (they hadn't been told it was going to happen). We were given the choice of moving back to our original room the next morning - which we did, as everything was guaranteed to be quiet by 6pm. The hotel insisted on not charging us for our second night, which seemed very generous of them. We'll definitely be back !!

First class. Everything was perfect from the warm and sincere welcome we recieved on check-in to the spotlessly clean room. Everything and everyone spot on. Would stay again without hesitation in fact every Raddison ive stayed in has been excellent. Beats the pants off every other hotel in Glasgow, and i've stayed in most of them.

I stayed just one night in this hotel on business in the City. It was all great. Nice room and decor with good quality touches. Reception staff very helpful. The young Scottish guy who seemed to be maitre'd at the restuarant was early 20s, and was great. Even though I dined early and was the only person in there for the first 30 minutes he couldnt have been more helpful and attentive without any feeling of being watched. He is a credit to the hotel and the training he has had.I agree with others the breakfast is just great. Hot toast! Dont get that very often! Scrumtious mushrooms. There is just so much to eat I didnt want to leave.
