A sleek modern hotel diagonally across the street from the back entrance to Glasgow Central Station. Last year we had a "Business Class" room which was quite nice. This time we got a "Standard" room which was not as spacious, but still fine. Very good breakfast buffet, and this year the service (for coffee, etc.) was greatly improved.

Stayed here many times and a big fan of this place.

Stayed last week for 2 nights overall it was fine but it does not now have a few problems.

The hotel opened about 6 years ago, its very modern design with very attractive vaulted lobby and glass lifts. Its very centrally located about 2 min walk to station and less than 5 mins to main shopping area.

The rooms are fine but they're are signs now of wear and tear as you might expect after 6 years, nothing major but stains here and there. They have renovated the TVs and installed flat screens but the biggest gripe was the beds as someone else mentioned they are getting to the end of their life span and really need replacing, the;re very uncomfortable if you happen to get a particularly bad room.

The food in the bar was really awful the worst i've ever experienced which is odd as previously it was good, although the service was excellent. The bar manager apologised and didnt charge me for my food.

If your coming by car they do valet parking and park it in a local ncp but they now charge £16 every time you ask them to park it!! So if you go out twice in one day that's a hefty £32. if you park and pick it up the next morning then its the only 1 charge.

Bad food, bad beds and excessive parking charges are disappointing for such a great hotel, all the other departments like reception, house keeping etc were all very good indeed. If they don't watch this place will go down hill which will be a shame for such a modern, very bright and centrally located hotel. It's still my hotel of choice in Glasgow only just though as I don't normally need the car parking. By the way many people are rating this as 5 star its definitely not 5 star but it is a fairly decent 4 star.

Right next to Glasgow Central Railway Station, this hotel is ideally located if you make Glasgow as your base to explore Scotland. Queen Street station is not far away either, just a ten minute walk. The hotel itself is good, rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom floor is kept particularly warm, which was comfortable. We also enjoyed the indoor heated pool in the basement. Oveall, a good value for money hotel.

We chose this hotel because we needed to be close to the Central Railway Station, for travel next day.. It well exceeded our expectations. The design was modern and appealing, the service friendly and efficient (including the porter offering to accompany us to the station, dragging our cases) and our bedroom was quiet, warm and comfortable, with luxurious heated floor-tiles in the bathroom! The corridor, along which our bedroom was situated, was thickly carpeted and, as I remarked to my wife, as we walked along it, it was wonderfully 'heavy' with silence and peace. We did not have a major meal in the restaurant but found the breakfast, served there, excellent. It was altogether a pleasure to stay in this hotel.and I have already recommended it to others.
