Stayed here 11/18-23. Got an amazing deal for the room. The room was extremely comfortable with a separate ironing board/iron, trouser press, kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies all included in the room rate. The hotel is modern with easy internet access from your room. There are two phones, a full shower/bath with nice towels, not the rough papery kind you find in a lot of places. The check in was quick and easy, every employee was pleasent and totally helpful, even the housekeeper in the hallway, when I asked for the closest post office, offered to find out and knock on my room door with an answer. The included breakfast was good as far as taste, but the variety was incredible. I can't imagine a single person not finding something to eat. The building is very new, with large hallways and lots of light. Rooms have floor to ceiling windows with heavy curtains to keep drafts out. There is a public gym in the building with free access to hotel guests. The location is excellent, 1 block from the Central train station and 3 short blocks from the set down of the express bus to/from the airport. Can't say enough about this hotel. Housekeeping was slightly weak, bath mat not replaced for a very slippery floor and one glass had lipstick marks on it, but otherwise not even a minor complaint. For the location alone, seriously consider this property over the Marriott or Hilton.

The Radisson is a really nice, well designed, contemporary 4* hotel with the design style of a 5*, but at half the price. Would definitely stay there again rather than anywhere else in Glasgow. Recommended.

My only crtiticism, as others have mentioned, is that the minibar and the plastic goodies tray above it are both computer controlled. If you move anything, even to get to the tea and coffee, items get automatically added to the bill. I dont think its a scam, just a design fault, but Radisson do need to sort it out. Overall though recommended.

I stayed at the Radisson in Glasgow Sept. 25, and I was not disappointed. Well, I was, but that was because I couldn't stay longer. The staff was gracious, apologizing for not having a room for me when I arrived at 9am! All I was expecting was a safe place to put my bags until a more reasonable check-in hour (which they had). I was a terrible guest, sleeping past check-out (jet lag is a drag), but they assured me it wasn't a problem. Then I forgot something in the room and they sent it back to me in the States--it was waiting for me when I arrived home. I can't find a single bad thing to say; the location is excellent (directly across from Central Station), the room was gorgeous, and it lived up to my expectations based on the tripadvisor.com reviews. I will definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel, and the location is hard to beat, the staff is good and rooms are nice with good air conditioning, but there are problems.
The leisure club with pool and exercise facilities really can't be enjoyed. The hotel allows anyone to join its leisure club so the areas are very crowded and the staff here was grouchy and unhelpful. We don't use mini bars but checking my bill there were charges for close to $68 for this; when I questioned this the tab was deleted, but I heard others during our stay complain of not using the mini bar and being charged so check your bill carefully.
This bills itself as a five star hotel- 3 1/2 or 4 would be more reasonable. The ammeidties you see on line-some of them-are only for certain rooms at a much higher cost than what is shwon; at a "sale" price of $212 a day, I expected much more.

Only stayed here for 1 night as I was flying back to the States from Glasgow but would highly recommend staying at this hotel. My room was very comfortably decorated and a great bed. Although I really didn't have a view, the hotel has colored lights flooding thru the abandoned building next door and gravel on roof which was pretty cool and a nice change from a typical downtown hotel. Had dinner at the hotel and while it was a little slow (I'm sure due to it being a Monday night and very little traffic) the food was excellent and the staff very pleasant. One thing to be aware of if driving is that there is a spot in front of the hotel for loading and unloading but there is a bus stop sign right by it which was a little confusing. I drove around the block 3 times before I just parked illegally around the corner. The bell staff was great and went out got all my luggage and parked the car for me. All I had to do was check in and they brought keys and luggage up within 5 minutes. Also, they do have in-room safes and I locked my jewelry in it that evening and then completely forgot about it. I didn't realize until I got back home a day and a half later. I called the hotel very upset thinking that it would be gone and I was out of luck. The staff called me back shortly and let me know that they had my jewelry and shipped it back to me. The management of this hotel should be commended for having an excellent hotel with a superb staff to match. The Radisson lives up to all of the great recommendations on this site.
