I spent two nights at this hotel last August and can't fault anything. The hotel honored my request for a quiet room, and it was a fairly large room to boot. I was a bit apprehensive about the decor as pictured on the website, but what I found was fine and relaxing (no orange or turquoise walls as I feared). It had a comfortable chair and coffee table, as well as a good working desk and plenty of room to move around and do yoga. There was even room to set up the ironing board in the room. One of the things that particularly stands out in my mind was the wide and roomy foyer going into room. The main storage was there, and I think that added to the overall feeling of spaciousness.
I had room service breakfast both mornings and it was fine. I had dinner room service one night -- something light like a salad -- and it was also fine.
At the end of my trip I spent a couple of nights at the Radisson SAS in Edinburgh, which, though basically fine, didn't meet the same high standards of the Glasgow hotel. I didn't think the room was as cleverly designed, and there were a couple small glitches, only mildly annoying, but enough to make me really appreciate how well things work at the Glasgow hotel.
