Central location literally in the centre of the City, and booked at a great price via expedia.

We were on the second floor, and potential noise from traffic was a concern before we got to the room, but we didn't hear a peep!

Lively bar area, modern hotel. Food at breakfast was continental at £11, or cooked for £16. Not too bad I guess... Drinks were typical city centre prices.

Room was spacious, and came with all the typical amenities you would expect - coffee/tea making, iron/board and trouser press. Hair dryer, safe, mini-bar, dressing gowns. TV had about 10 channels. WiFi was free which was nice. Bed was big and comfortable.

I didn't use the pool / gym, but to say the use of it was built into the price of the stay (which is becoming increasingly rare these days) I have to admit there were no complaints. Would definitely stay there again. Even though it is your typical functional, large, city centre chain hotel, it was quiet.

I stayed in a queen-bed room. Room itself is spacious and comfortable. The bed is too soft for me though, as I have a slight back problem. There are a large stain of wine on the carpet and the housekeeping staff seemed not to be bothered with it. The supplements in the room e.g. coffees, tea bags are of good quality. TV with digital channels is a bonus as well.

What impressed me most is the friend service by the reception staff, in particular I have to mention a guy named Hamit. He helped us rent the car from enterprise, and show us the interesting places to visit/
eat too. Very helpful and responsible! I was about to give him some tips when I came back from business trip but unfortunately he was not on duty that day. The hotel lobby also offers a desktop for guests to use internet free of charge, which is good as I did not bring my laptop with me.

The breakfast costs 15 pounds per person. It is just not worth the price, in my opinion. The choices are rather limited, and quality is so so. Believe me, I have stayed in many 3-5 star hotels. My experience told me that this is not a good offer.

The best hotel i have stayed in can't fault anything with this hotel.
Rooms are big and bed is huge.
Breakfast is great you can have anything and as much as you like.
Only 1 thing i would say is that the drinks in the bar are expensive.

we stayed here for just one night in March. The location could not be more convenient, right next to the main rail station and just a few minutes walk from Buchanan Street, the main city centre shopping street. The hotel itself is extremely well appointed, very modern. Our room, a standard double, had marble counter tops in the bathroom with heated floor tiles and an amazing shower (great water pressure!). The bed was huge (an american king size) and very comfortable and despite freezing weather outside it was warm and toasty inside when we arrived and the ac was easy to control too. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff were extremely helpful too. In the morning before we checked out we made several trips out from the hotel to nearby locations, the rain was heavy and the hotel provided large umbrellas for guests who needed to venture out in it. The hotel had two restaurants, neither of which we tried but at least one was very reasonably priced. We did use the bar in the stylish atrium/lobby, they had a nice range of single malts (of course) and friendly bar staff. All this for considerably less than I would expect t have paid for a major city centre and way less than in the US (even with the horrendous exchange rates!). Fabulous place, would stay here again without hesitation.
