I booked Langs for one night as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday - we were definitely not disappointed! I booked through Laterooms and decided to pay a little extra to upgrade to a Duplex Suite as I was already paying a reduced rate. The suite had the same facilities as a standard double bedroom (Playstation 2, CD player, Bodyjet shower etc) but also included a lounge area with comfy sofas, coffee table, large TV and rugs etc. We were quite high up so had great views over Glasgow. The bathroom was very modern with a huge bath and seperate power shower cubicle. The frosted glass wall with coloured light gave the bathroom an unusual edge but in a good way! The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious (it was a king rather than a double) and the extra TV attached to the foot of it was an added touch of luxury! We ordered breakfast in bed which arrived within 5 minutes of the time we'd requested and included everything we had asked for. Food, coffee was hot and nicely presented - no complaints whatsoever. We only paid a £2 charge to have breakfast in our room which was an added bonus. The reception staff were efficient and check in and out went smoothly. I would definitely stay at Langs again, it's a fantastic hotel in a great location right in the middle of Glasgow.

Stayed one night at Langs. I would say it was a 3 star at best. Rooms were lovely, shower was amazing. [watch out for the step]. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Dont accept room 318 as this is next to the laundry and storeroom. We were wakened at 4am by loud music and the staff chatting outside our room. Breakfast was a dissapointment. Not enough attention paid to items that have run out. Staff were friendly enough but some of the restuarant staff had a bad attitude. Fine hotel as long as you are willing to put up with a few dissapointments. Water was vile out of the taps and a litre bottle of the stuff set us back £4. Would stay again, but thought there was room for improvement.

Excellent hotel with convenient location next to bus station & 5 minutes from Queen Street Railway Station. Close to theatres, cinemas & central shopping areas.

Staff very friendly & helpful. Both check-in & check-out painless. Breakfast was probably the best I have come across in a long time with a huge selection of both hot & cold items to choose from. Additional items such as vegetarian sausages were available upon request.

Room was very nice & comfortable with everything I could need. The teas provided included several herbal choices which was nice. The only negative is that part of the bathroom wall is glass & a silhouette of the person within was on occasions visible from the bedroom which I for one could have done without. This glass also means that if one person visits the bathroom during the night, the entire bedroom is illuminated when the bathroom light is switched on.

I was very happy with this hotel & would be happy to stay there again when in Glasgow.

This hotel was very centrally located. Convenient to walk anywhere in the city. We were attracted to the hotel because of the modern decor and were not disappointed. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned very well -- before our arrival or during our stay. Also, the mattress was quite uncomfortable...springs were poking into our backs. The staff at the front desk were always very friendly, but things didn't always get taken care of. Our shower didn't drain. We informed the front desk on the first morning and it never got fixed during the 5 nights we were there. The breakfast was good (buffet style, large selection). Room service was always prompt with requested items.

Have stayed in many hotels in Glasgow - One Devonshire, Hilton, Radisson SAS etc

I loved Langs. We upgraded to a duplex suite and it was fantastic. PLenty of room, with a modern practical feel to it.

Food was great (esp breakfast) and staff were very helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

Location was perfect.
