Average stay in this hotel only.
Good points:
- friendly reception staff
- great location
- huge comfortable beds
- good room facilities - e.g. CD player

Bad points:
- shower tiles grubby
- toilet seat hanging on by one screw only
- gym hadn't been cleaned from one morning to the next - empty water cups still lying in the same place
- decor not attractive - e.g. fire extinguishers prominently situated, but in a broken plastic case

This was my 4th time at Langs and I have stayed in the Duplex suite, Langs suite and just tried the Themed Suite. Langs Suite is the best out of all the rooms and really worth the extra. The staff at Langs are really nice and friendly and the bar is a great place to sit and watch the world go by on a busy Satruday afternoon. You have the town centre right on your door step so you have lots of otpions available to you.
We ordered room service that was really promt, changed dinner reservations at the last minute which was no problem and breakfast was delivered to the room...nice and warm. All in all another great night staying at Langs. I'll be back again soon I'm sure. Try it!

I have stayed at Langs on a few occasions now while on business and I think it is great. It is very central but the noise is not a problem even when staying low down at the front of the hotel.

The rooms are huge, the beds are vast, the bathrooms are great. The restaurants are not too bad either. Oshi is pretty good and the food in Las Brisas is excellant, although it is a bit lacking in atmosphere. I would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone else who was visiting Glasgow.

The only problem I have had is that my colleagues always seem to get upgraded to even better rooms than me (one commented that he went upstairs from his living room to reach his bedroom) and I never do!

stayed here 27th & 28th March 2005, primarily because of its location to the royal concert hall, and shops. rooms were o.k.for size, good big bed,and i especially liked the jet shower. We had to evacuate the hotel at 2a.m. on the first night ,as the fire alarm went off, not the hotel's fault, some idiot smoking a cigar in a non smoking room. didn't think much of the bar area, while the service wasn't bad, there was absolutely no atmosphere, it felt like you were sitting in a lobby, which in fact you were.
we had dinner in the Oshi lounge on our first night which was o.k.but nothing out of the ordinary, the servers were very good though. the dinner was inclusive of our room rate, but they still tried to charge us for it again
on check out, but that was quickly resolved.
Couldn't try the other restaurant in the hotel, cos it was closed the two days we were there.
All in all an alright stay, nothing special, but certainly not a 4 star hotel!!

Langs ought to warn you to clench your teeth or to provide oxygen supplies. When we entered our room my jaw hit the floor and it took our breath away. We had a massive room, with one of the biggest beds I've ever seen, lovely decor, huge bathroom and totally cool shower (more of which later) as well as a two-person bath. Loved the sitting room area and the little portable tv attached to the corner of the bed.

Staff were very helpful, even willing to go out onto the street and hail us a cab after the one we'd booked failed to materialise. Room service in the evening was reasonably priced, the person taking the order was very efficient and it came very promptly. RS breakfast was delivered on the dot and was also excellent.

One gripe -- the hot water failed (in the whole hotel) on the Monday morning meaning we had to leave unshowered. We did hear a bit of street noise (we were there on a Sunday night after the CIS cup final won by Rangers) but no more than any other city centre hotel. And they do provide earplugs.

And given the very reasonable rate we were charged this place was even more amazing. I'd never stay anywhere else in Glasgow and Langs has raised my benchmark for other hotels in the UK
