Great value for a weekend stay for the family. Room rate of only £50.00 B&B for a family of four. The rooms were clean and tidy although a little updating wouldn't go amiss. A good selction of food availble and was very good both at breakfast and in the evening. They didn't have any room safe to store personal belongings and the hairdryer in the room was broken, but apart from that ,overall good. All the family had good nights sleep which is unusual in strange beds. The staff were both pleasant and very helpful when needed. The only issue was the hotel was a little far out of Glasgow centre.

How this can be classified as a hotel is quite simply laughable. The room was shabby, damp, cold and had not been cleaned properly. When I complained to the manager I was told that I really shouldn't complain because I was in an executive room and that he did'nt think that their was anything wrong with it. I was told that if I did'nt like the room I should go elsewhere. To say I was shocked at this attitude is an understatement. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed overnight mid-week. The hotel lobby is very dingy with peeling faux marble wallpaper everywhere and dim lights. The handrail on the stairs was loose.

One of our rooms was a little shabby (torn or peeling wallpaper, loose bathroom fittings) but acceptable, the other was definitely below par with no batteries in the TV remote, the advertised Sky channels not available, no hangers in the wardrobe and the room door needed locking shut due to it being jemmied open at some time in the past.

Beds in both rooms were hard (ish) and very comfortable. There was no late noise and the place was generally very quiet and well insulated from road noise.

Dinner was extremely good value (£20 for a meal for 2 with a bottle of wine!) and very satisfying, and breakfast was... okay. The main problem with the dining room was that it smelled. I'd like to think that it was just damp, but there was definitely a tinge of something else...

An indication of how obvious the hotel's faults were was that, over dinner, the conversation was almost entirely of how we would renovate the place if we had the money!

The staff were all very helpful and courteous.

Got married in the Kings Park Hotel on Sat 7th October 2006, everything was excellent..the food the venue and had a lovely honeymoon suite. Can not fault it in anyway...excellent manager and staff.
