It wasn't the worst hotel ever but it definitely wasn't what I expected.
First of all it smelt as we walked in which was a bit off putting. We got to our room which was big and had a huge bathroom but I think that was all it had going for it.
The window only opened a bit and was a pain to get open/closed - considering the fact the room was hot anyway was a total pain. Even when the temperature had dropped, the room was still really hot. The view from the window was a bit of derelict land which looked quite scary. The TV remote didn't work and the TV didn't work properly - the only way to change channel was to press the channel - button (through about 80 empty channels!!)
The worst thing was the noise! During the night there was what sounded like an air conditioning unit (which was obviously not used in the hotel cos it was so hot) that switched on noisily every 15 minutes and went off after rattling for 5 minutes or so. Really annoying!
I wouldn't recommend it - good job it was so cheap!!
