My wife and I stayed here while we went to a show. Check in very quick (here's your key give us your money) Room ok 203 facing busy road, but used to it. Bed clean enough, very thick duvet too hot for us. Turned heating of, still hot. Breakfast very good apart from cheap sausages.
Toilet not the cleanest, only place i've been where you have to step up to sit on the loo!

Recently stayed at this hotel when down to a show at the SECC. The hotel itself is central not too far from the Central station, half price parking nearby, get a token from the desk, or park in the street between 6pm and 8am.I have no complaints at all about the rooms, large, clean, comfy beds. There was gents underwear left in a drawer, cleaner needs to check this out. The only thing that i feel let it down was the breakfast, too crowded self service, the hot breakfast buffet too close to the cold buffet and toasters. I did have a bit of plastic in my mushrooms to but waitress none too bothered about it.

We stayed in this hotel last month and found it was very good value. The hotel is central (near Central Station) and handy for all the shopping areas. The room was fairly small but was clean and had an iron, ironing board etc. The breakfast was excellent and was included in the price - all for £50 per room per night. Would definately stay again.

Excellent location with parking availability. Spacious rooms and good service. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Would stay again. Good price for what you get and convenient for central station. Had no probs with traffic or people noise even on a Friday night.

We had no problem there at all, the lady at front desk was helpful. Close to city but budget price. Complaints I have read seem a unfair. We parked our car out the front with no hassle, were made aware of the hours of when to move it ( as we aren't locals) . Breakfast seemed generous, the bar was quite and the bar man very helpful.

Me and my 3 friends have recently spent a weekend in Glasgow and stayed in Alexander Thomson hotel in a quad room. We paid £50 each - this was for 2 nights with breakfasts! Fantastic value for money! Yes - it may not be the Radisson Blu in terms of interior and service, but perfect for what we needed. In terms of location you just don't get any better in Glasgow, not once did we have to use a taxi! 3 minutes walk from Central Station (15 minutes walk from Queens STreet Station), all shops and restaurants on the doorstep - we had a fantastic weekend and would definitely recommend this hotel for shopping, sightseeing etc. Room we had was massive, could have perhaps done with an update, but very clean and fully serviced between the 2 days. Breakfast was good, full English (toasters bit slow...) - set you up for the day. Overall - excellent, would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Quad room for 4 people was huge - had 2 double beds and a single! Perfect for a family of 4 or 4 fri...
