Description: Don Costanzo is a newly opened Italian Restaurant located in the basement of 13 Woodside Crescent, Glasgow G3. Formerly the location of Nick Nairn's restaurant, it has been transformed into a warm, homely welcoming restaurant where you can enjoy the best of authentic, home cooked Italian cuisine. Don Costanzo was opened after the closure of The Caprese in Buchanan Street, a long established restaurant of 26 years, owned and run by Costanzo Cacace and his family. Costanzo gained the reputation of offering the best of the best to the best of the best. Clientele from across the globe, famous and not so famous enjoyed what Costanzo offered in the Caprese, fantastic food in a great atmosphere and those people have returned to Don Costanzo for more of the same. Using only the best of ingredients and produce, and with an impressive wine list to suit every taste, a trip to Costanzo's new place will not disappoint. Easily reached from both the city centre and west end with good parking.

“The Best in Glasgow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Have been visiting this restaurant periodically since I was about 13 - my mum and dad were regulars to The Caprese when it was on Buchanan Street. Have been to the Don Costanzo twice and it is outstanding. The food, the atmosphere, the staff are all first class.

If you've not been, then I would suggest you give it a go.........

“Wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Took my girlfriend out on a date. Exceptional service. Chef popped in occasionally to have a very friendly chat. The staff were very nice and homely. The food was awesome. Best meal I'v ever had in a italian restaurant tbh. I loved it. Shame the restaurant is a little hidden.

“Top Class Yet Again...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Had another fabulous night at Don Costanzo on Saturday. The food, wine, welcome, service, banter...consistently top notch. The food is always simple and incredibly delicious - great specials (if the lemon sole with tiger prawns is on the menu, don't miss it. It's to die for). If you know of this place, then you'll know how amazing it is. If you've not been yet, get a table booked asap and enjoy! Thanks for a great night guys, we will be back again very soon.

Well in answer to Alexander 221 I would just like to say if your truly going to put a review on here about a place you really should visit it first I've been many many times and the place is fantastic for a start you are defo lying about your review cos who goes out for two people and has 4 main courses with 2 lots of veg & 2 lots of chips plus icecream oh and btw where did the tiger prawns fit in with it was that your starter no wonder you were sick when the bill came you should maybe stick to McDonald's. I love the place the atmosphere is great the food is top class and the device is second to none keep going costanzo and staff!!!!!!!

“FABULOUS!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

Discovered what is possibly the BEST Italian restaurant in Glasgow. Lovely, helpful staff. Really simple menu, but it is the specials that make the difference. Not a bad dish all night. Lovely house wine, fabulous food, friendly and simple. Seriously - best Italian. Go and try it.!
