“Best value Indian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

First time I have been to this restaurant in Charing Cross was on Saturday night.

We opted for the £25.95 deal which was fantastic. A mixed platter of starters including pakora, onion bhaji, chicken tikka was was beautifully cooked and melted in your mouth and also Keema , minced lamb on a pancake. The deal also included two curries a bottle of wine, rice and naan bread. It was fantastic value and so much food. The curries were freash and tasty and the naan bread was huge. We ended up with a doggy bag at the end of the night!

The restaurant looks like it was an old pub which adds to the charm.

The staff were friendly and made a real effort with their customers. The youngest waiter was really enthusastic, helpful and funny.

I would definately recommend the Punjabi Charing Cross, for value and also quality!

“Fantastic !!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

Have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and never been disappointed. The sea bass starter is divine as are the numerous others I have tried. Main courses never fail to impress. The premises has been various pubs and restaurants over the year but i feel that the Punjabi Charing Cross is here to stay. Well done Harry and all the boys !!!

We had a perfect meal with lots of variety.

Staff very welcoming, will be back!

Great Food, very friendly staff and reasonably priced. Opposite Premier Inn, but hard to see from road due to trees.

“consistently good ..... and gluten free”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

Third visit now to this excellent Indian restaurant where the menu includes some fun scottish-indian combinations. Most important there is a lot on the menu which is gluten free and the waiters and kitchen staff really understand what that means. Seems to have a lot of regulars and I'll definitely be another.
