This is an offshoot of the Mother India restaurants that have a deservedly high reputation for good food. "Dining-In" is next door to their "cafe" and it also has a shop selling their prepared foods chilled and ready for home heating and eating or freezing.
There are only a few seats. The menu is small but all the food is freshly prepared in the small kitchen. It is a variant on the usual "Indian" restaurant fare and seems lighter, less oily and includes more fish such as monkfish and haddock. It is also reasonably priced.
As it is small, it is quieter than most restaurants and staff are attentive. And when we go, we buy and carry away enough for another day.
