“An Experince”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Visited this restaurant on an Itson voucher. Tagine, flat bread and rice was lovely and was very flavorful. Really enjoyed the BYOB and felt the decor really added to the environment. Hoping to head back on and belly dancing evening to complete the experience. Service was lovely if a bit placid. It was defiantly worth while with the voucher but maybe feel differently if paying full price.

“Very Satisfied Lady”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

OK, I was recommended this place by a friend on saturday and booked a table for this evening. I chose from the pre theatre menu to sample the food. I don't normally have a big appetite, so the idea of a 3 course meal was a bit of a challenge but I ate all 3 and literally licked all 3 plates clean! I guess I liked the food! The lady who greeted and served me and 3 friends was lovely, polite, informative, helpful and inviting. I will return and recommend, she mentioned belly dancing - this will be looked into as I think will be fun!

“Egyption Delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Went to this restaurant on a deal with bottle of wine in hand (B.Y.O.) Tagine was lovely, not as sweet as some I have had in the past at other restaurants. The service was attentive, a lovely meal was had by us both, look forward to going back soon, hopefully on another deal!

“Not "Average" but not "Very Good" either!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Went here on a Saturday night for a tagine, flatbread and rice with an Itison deal. The decor is lovely and the food is good.

Only negatives was the lenght of time...2hours 15mins for 2 mains and a dessert...luckily we weren't in a rush.

Also was a bit daunting when you could clearly hear the chef talking down to the waitresses!

Apart from that it was a good experience and we would return with friends to give it another go.

“Food was good, but left hungry.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Booked with a voucher for 2 tagine with flatbread and rice and went along on Friday night.

The decor in the place was very nice, and the atmosphere was relaxed with good service. My partner ordered the lamb with potato tagine and I went for the chicken with spinach. Although the food was well cooked and tasty there was pretty much nothing to it. My tagine consisted of 4 pieces of chicken breast, however my partner fared better as she had potato in hers.

Looking around at other tables people were tucking into various dishes which looked adequate for a dinner. Not sure if they whittle the portion size down due to it being a voucher, but as disappointed with that aspect of it.

Left hungry which is not a good sign after going out for dinner.
