In the heart of the city, the hotel is convenient for any visitor - in walking distance to business, restaurants, shops, and train station. Staff friendly and helpful. Location-wise, we were very happy that we chose the Millennium rather than the Hilton, Radisson, or Marriott.
Despite a few reviews stating shabby rooms, our room was fine. The rooms are not the same standard as other Millenniums at which I've stayed, just basic 3 star and CLEAN (but location and staff more than compensate for this). The lobby is 4 star and has a wonderful bistro overlooking George Square.
Hotel continental breakfast 'very' average. Across the square and to the right are pleasant cafes for coffee and breakfast. Arriving by car, you are allowed 5 minutes to unload in front of the hotel (despite signs to the contrary). The garage is only a few blocks away and once you have your ticket validated by reception, it is only 6 pounds daily.
For the seasoned business traveller, do NOT book the Executive Floor - way below par: no breakfast or afternoon snacks served in club lounge, cocktail wines rough, and though booking through expedia it stated that Executive Rooms included daily paper - it was extra.
Would definitely stay here again - location, location, location, staff, and cleanliness!!
