I stayed here for 5 nights in April 2008 and had one of the club rooms.
First the good. The hotel is right in the center of the city and convenient for the Glasgow Flyer coach to and from the airport. The room was nice enough, although it was a little small.
Now the bad. The hotel is a little dated now and needs freshening up a bit. There was no heating in my room but the hotel provided a portable header. Not exactly what I was expecting when I'm paing $200/night. Moving me to another room would have been a better idea.
The hotel's idea of Internet Access in their club rooms is dial up. Be sure to bring a modem and cable as the hotel doesn't supply them. WiFi is available in the lobby for a whopping $40/day (20 pounds). That is the most expensive I have seen anywhere in the world. It was very slow also.
The TV didn't work that well and there were only 6 channels.
Do yourself a favor and stay at the Radisson SAS. Its much nicer and a bit cheaper.
