Set in George Square the hotel is right in the centre of many of the interesting sights. Convenient for train and bus and many other amenities. The hotel is comfortable, the staff pleasant and well able to deal with the many guests who stay there. Especially enjoyed sitting with a drink on the glass terrace which gives an interesting view on the night life of Glasgow. Very good value for a city centre hotel.

A really easy hotel to stay at. Great location, friendly staff, inoffensive decor and a well lit reception, bar and restaurant area; a fantastic spot to eat breakfast overlooking George Square. The only drawback for business travellers who aren't Millenium Club members is that the rooms aren't Wi-fi (though there is Wi-fi in the lobby.) I'll definitely stay again next time I am in town for work.

We were very happy with the Millenium Hotel Glasgow. And would definately recommend it to friends. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top floor and was a corner unit so we had the best of both worlds; the bedroom was situtated on the quiet side of the building and the bathroom was on the front of the building so we were able to see all the action of George Square from there. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. It was cleaned promptly and throughly everyday giving us a fresh clean space to come back to after a day of sightseeing. The location couldn't be better, this is such a central hotel with Merchant City, Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street all steps from the hotel. There is also the tourist office across the square and the hop on hop off tour bus starts right outside the hotel. A helpful tip, if you are flying into Glasgow, use the Glasgow Flyer bus from the airport into the city, there is a stop right across the square from the hotel. Also, the hotel is right beside the train station (never heard a sound in our room from the station and the bedroom was facing it) so, if you are going to Edinburgh it is really easy. We loved Glasgow and would definately stay at the Millenium Hotel if we make a return trip!

This was the second time i have stayed here - which, I suppose speaks for itself. It is a very well situated hotel overlooking George Square. It you want a quiet room ask for a room at the back but if you want a good view of Glagow ask to overlook George Square. It is not a lavishly appointed hotel but the rooms are reasonably furnished and of a reasonable size. I only stayed one night and made little use of the facilities but the reception team were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was modest and so unmemorable that I cannot remember what I had!. Parking is in the NCP car park 3 blocks (4-5 minutes walk) away. The hotel has organised a discount (half price) and overnight parking was £6.40 which is probably not too bad for such a prime location. It was good value for money and I would recommend it.

Our stay at this top class hotel was excellent. The greeting and service on arrival was excellent which was maintained throughout our stay. All staff are extremely friendly and courteous and go out of their way to help.

We dined in the restaurant which I must say is of a high standard compared to most hotel restaurants. There is also a lovely bar in the hotel named "Georgics" again the staff are very friendly and helpful and the drink is extremely reasonable. Both bar and restaurant are on the website [--] and have great deals, especially in the bar, if you book online (it's free to join) you get a 20% discount on food and beverage.

We would definitely stay here again.
