Wife and I spent 5 nights at the White House Apartments and enjoyed everything about the place. Friendly staff, clean rooms, gorgeous neighborhood (Glasgow's artsy West End with renovated luxury townhouses). As we traveled throughout the days, most of our staff interaction was with Richard who had the evening shift. He enjoyed talking to us about each day's trip and was most helpful in offering tips and insights for us to use in the next day's journey (his tip to take the bus from Glasgow to Oban for a day trip was one of the highlight trips of our vacation). These self-sufficiency accommodations were exactly what we were looking for and afforded us the opportunity to shop for our meals and cook at home -- really felt as if we lived in Glasgow, even if only for a week. The room had everything one needs as for dishes, cutlery, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, teapot, etc. The neighborhood provides awesome and safe environment to run/jog/walk (saw a lot of people doing so each morning/evening) and the Apartments are only a 10-15 minute walk from Byrne Road's shops, restaurants, and Hillhead subway station. Wife and I used these daily walks to counter the excellent eating we enjoyed throughout the trip! :) All in all, we couldn't have asked for more in a hotel and could find absolutely no faults with the place. Highly recommend White House Apartments to other independent travelers. We'll definitely be back again -- Can't see ourselves staying anywhere else in Glasgow!

I stayed at these lovely apartments just after New Year, we had booked a small studio and when we arrived we had been upgraded to a lovely one bedroom Cottage ( as it was my husbands birthday) which was a lovely surprise!

The apartment was great as we could come and go as we pleased ( much better option than a hotel), the staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

I would reccommend these apartments to anyone.

After trying a few others in Glasgow, finally I could relax & feed at home. Very comfortable. Very friendly staff. A lovely quiet neighborhood. Very roomy and with a nice kitchen, separate batthroom, comfortable seating / lounge chairs. Who would be in a tiny B&B...

fantastic stay in a well equipped,clean comfortable apartment. we stayed in the two bed apartment and couldn`t fault it.excellent value for money!
