“excellent shopping”

All types of shops for all tastes in one street and it is pedestrianised which is a big plus. We were in Glasgow Christmas shopping and there is something for everyone in Buchanan Street including the Galleries

“Lively street at the heart of Glasgow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Very lively street at the heart of Glasgow. It is a commercial street of Glasgow with plenty of shops. This place always full with people. There are also many groups perform on the street whether singing, playing bagpipes, dance or etc.. This is the street to feel the live in Glasgow and Scotland all about. Just a short walk from Glasgow Central and Glasgow queen street station. And also a short walk from Buchanan Bus station. A lot of christmas light during December. At the north top of the road, there is Buchanan Galleries with plenty of commercial shops inside. As you strolls along the street to the south, you will go along a row of shops and finally arrive at the intersection of Argyll Street which is also a busy commercial street. There is St Enoch center at the south end of Buchanan Street, which is also a mall at the bank of River Clyde.

“lively street”

this street is never empty and there are plenty of shops to explore. I recommend you visit the Princes Square shopping arcade.Even if it is too pricey it just looks lovely particularly at Xmas time and there are cafes and restaurants also.

“Shopaholics central.”

Lots of quality shops - check out Princess Square with a few quality pubs also. Good atmosphere for xmas shopping without the sterile sensation of the out of town "Mall-plexes"
