Hadnt heard of City Inn Hotels before I had stayed, what a great find this hotel was, great beds, a proper power shower, an apple i mac in modern styl;sih bedroom which had the TV, DVD, CD player and free wifi access!!! yes free!, unlike my stays at other major hotel brands in this city where they charge £10-£15 extra!

Had an impressive dinner in their restaurant City Cafe over looking the river, brilliant wine list, staff very courtesous and a real good buzz and atmosphere in the place, a hard find in norm hotel food outlets!!

Tis hotel is modern, great bedrooms and facilites, lots of big windows and daylight as well as staff with personaility, yeah true hospitality! Break away from the big chains and give these guys a go!

My second stay at the City Inn, again really pleased with the accommodation. You have to get a taxi anywhere, but it wasn't a problem as I was on business.

Nice, clean, modern and plenty of facilities. Everything you could want for and more like free Internet.

Would certainly recommend this for a business stay or if you don't want to be in the centre of Glasgow!

The most important service when you book a room at a hotel is that they will provide you with a room when you arrive. Despite booking months ahead this hotel had no rooms for two of our party. This appeared to be also a problem for another guest that arrived at around the same time.
The only reason to book this hotel is that it is close to SECC, but if on the day it they can not provide a confirmed room what is the point?

Had stayed at this Hotel on 2 previous occasions: believe it was quite a bit more expensive then than our most recent visit!
Rooms had had an overhaul, which made them really bright and clean. Very inviting.
All fixtures were of a very high standard. Shower Room was lovely - great power shower!
Perfect for our one-night stay.
Bus Stop to go to the Airport was right outside the Hotel. £3 single fare - excellent VFM!
Great location for both the Armadillo/SECC and The Ferry.
Will definitely stay there again!

Just back from a lovely two night stay at this hotel - the rooms are really clean and comfortable also quiet. Breakfast was also very good try the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon!
