“Interesting but small. Free - worth popping in whilst in the area.”
A dinky little museum in a beautiful historic building within the university. The Hunters were obviously fascinating men, and it is worth learning a little about their lives.
Those with an interest in the medical (or the macabre) will gain something from the many preserved medical specimens. The rest of exhibits are, like those in many university museums, a little dry and out of context.
Not the best museum in the world, but certainly worth a visit if in the area. It is free, gives access to a beautiful building, and gives an insight into the lives of an interesting pair of brothers.
