“Tasting Tour”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Completed the tasting tour with a couple of friends, they had done 14 tours in a week with this being their 15th and we're all experienced distillery baggers, despite saying that we were still treated to some of the "ignorant tourist" rubbish on the tour.

The drams are all decent although i would have preffered to have had the teapot dram in the house as well as the others before moving onto the shop as moving to the shop for this felt like we were being rushed a little and it's not as nice a place to enjoy the dram.

tour guide was very friendly and obviously knowledgable, but wasn't really able to customise the tour to our needs as much as we would have expected.

Lack of being able to do ANY photography within the buildings is a joke and i have no idea why they are doing this, it would only be a safety issue if a off camera flash was used against a hard surface ... without flash there is no risk and even with flash camera phones use LED flashes not capacitor ones and as such there's even less risk of a spark.

they really should revise this policy as it's a real disappointment to not be able to take photographs on your tour.

“A Fine End To Our Holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

After a great week in the Trossachs, this proved to be a fine end to our trip. We've passed this way so many times before without stopping and, with a couple of hours to spare, we took the opportunity to visit.

There are a number of different tours with pricing to match dependent on the number of whiskies (and chocolate) sampled. We took the basic tour but still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. With a 'designated' driver one could certainly have several drams. The guide was most knowledgeable and the staff in general friendly and welcoming. The shop has a wide and varied stock with gifts to suit all budgets. Recommended, not least if you are based in Glasgow with limited time available.

“Beautiful location, great visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

The setting is picturesque, with the hills surrounding the place and all the greenery. The guided tour through the distillery is very well done, enjoyable, and educational. Well worth the visit!

“Whiskey & Chocolate Tour of Brilliance!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

If you are looking for a personalized distillery experience in a lovely rural setting-you can't beat this one! The spirits are exceptionally high quality and the employees go all out to ensure you have an informative/enjoyable tour. We chose the chocolate tasting option which was delightful and unexpected. They also have some blending course options which we plan to do the next time we are here. I was also impressed with their water treatment/ disposal scheme (take a look at the reeded area next to the parking lot). A very enjoyable day!

“Amazing even for a beginner to whiskey”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

The tour guide was well informed, you got a real sense of knowledge. We tried out the Whiskey & Chocolate tour, a surprisingly good combination.

The distillery is a bit out in the country, so I'd recommend taking a designated driver if you're not staying near by.
