Completed the tasting tour with a couple of friends, they had done 14 tours in a week with this being their 15th and we're all experienced distillery baggers, despite saying that we were still treated to some of the "ignorant tourist" rubbish on the tour.
The drams are all decent although i would have preffered to have had the teapot dram in the house as well as the others before moving onto the shop as moving to the shop for this felt like we were being rushed a little and it's not as nice a place to enjoy the dram.
tour guide was very friendly and obviously knowledgable, but wasn't really able to customise the tour to our needs as much as we would have expected.
Lack of being able to do ANY photography within the buildings is a joke and i have no idea why they are doing this, it would only be a safety issue if a off camera flash was used against a hard surface ... without flash there is no risk and even with flash camera phones use LED flashes not capacitor ones and as such there's even less risk of a spark.
they really should revise this policy as it's a real disappointment to not be able to take photographs on your tour.
