“Fantastic Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

Use this particular Premier Inn on may occasions just for a wee city jaunt. Value for money is superb and often has loads of deals. Staff friendly and terrific family breakfast deal - For every adult 2 children eat FREE. Breakfast is buffet style / eat as much as you like - loads of choice. Rooms clean and serviced daily unless you don't want disturbed. Family rooms great size for this budget hotel. Well done !!!!

It's just a Premier inn... but a good one.

Staff were very friendly and more than helpful. Bar and restaurant area was nice although only had a pint and a bar snack on the first night.

Room was nice, a good size and had everything I would have wanted apart from a fridge or ice machine. After asking for an iron on the first morning I received a good one within 5 mins and kept it all week. Very comfy beds and didn't experience any problems with noise, slept very well.

Location was pretty good, just a 15 min walk into the main shopping centre. Parking at the car park next door was £12 a day but there is free parking on the street from 6pm - 8am

Only slight nag was a couple of very small stains on the bedding, but other than that it was excellent for my needs and the price paid.

Decent enough option in central (but dull) location. Potentially noisy (near M8) but very good soundproofing in rooms, which themselves are pretty decent. Breakfast could be better though - buffet = lukewarm on occasion

Young son suffers multiple food allergies. Staff at this Premier Inn were excellent and very caring. Chefs checking what was in breakfast items - even bringing labels out for us to check. Had a meal one evening where an allergy folder was produced for us to check and the kitchen also suggested alternatives. Waiter, Robbie, was very caring and understanding - a rare occurrence and a reason we don't eat out much at all. We would definitely use this Inn again, couldn't fault them. Enjoy staying at this chain anyway as you know what you are getting, but this is the best one yet. Good location too.

Great location, 2 minutes walk from the Kings Theatre, about 4 minutes from the Bon Accord (great traditional pub) and very near the shopping/restauants of Sauchihall St. etc.
The staff are very friendly, it's sparking clean, & it's one of our favourites for staying in when were in Glasgow.

We stayed for 4 nights and had 3 very good breakfasts in the morning. They were buffet style and you did wait long if they ran out even thought they were busy in the mornings we stayed, quite a good deal with the kids eating free. Our rooms were clean and nicely laid out. Bathrooms were a bit neat but not a problem for us. Both our rooms were on the corner of the building and maybe rooms in the middle would be different. Air conditioning worked fine and not too noisy when on low for the night and if you put it off the room didn't get too hot in night. Cleaning staff did a good job room always clean after we came back no matter how short we were away and we were never bothered if in room. Reception staff were pleasant and efficent when we needed taxis or other queries. The location is quite good for getting to centre 10 minute walk, but remember it is in the hilly part so taxi's/bus would be better if people struggle with this.We did drink in the bar or eat in restaurant so cant comment on that.

Stayed here for 2 nights - nice size room and comfortable bed. Bathroom was very small and dark. Staff on reception very friendly and professional. Would've been a good stay had we not been next door to some incredibly inconsiderate people. They (2 guys) were playing the guitar and singing the same song over and over again from 9.30pm until 11.30pm (we complained to reception at 11pm). They then left their room, slamming the door and returned at 3.30am knocking on doors and being really loud and then continued with their singing (yes, the same rubbish song!). This time there was also a female with them that perhaps they had picked up during their night out! I complained once again to reception and about 20 minutes later they were kicked out of their room but the female remained and she, clearly not happy, was slamming drawers, cupboards, switching light switches on and off to try and annoy us! The walls are paper-thin and we could hear everything in the room next door! I complained to reception in the morning and they said we would get a refund for that night. So, all in all, it's a good premier inn; clean and comfortable. Just unfortunate that we had guests from hell next door!
