Stayed here pre and post our summer holiday. We have now stayed here five times. The hotel has been consistently good with great hospitality. Excellent rooms although fairly small, well maintained and very clean, every comfort needed provided. Restaurant food pretty good, although room service menu quite expensive. Check in and reception service excellent.

Glasgow Airport Holiday Inn
Stayed: Sept. 17,2006
Reviewer: Trip advisor fans from America


We stayed at the Holiday Inn based on reviews indicating how easy it was to get to the airport. We brought our luggage early in the day and left it in the room then took the 950 Air Express bus back to Glasgow for the day. It made for a great last day in Scotland! We followed the advice of the ladies from Argyll and took our luggage over in the morning returning for a leisurely breakfast. It made the flight home enjoyable.
Our room was small but clean...all we needed for one night. No noise problems from the very busy airport. The staff was gracious and efficient. For 63 BP with breakfast will do this again when we visit our son.

  • Tips/Secrets: — Use the 950 Airport express bus for easy, cheap access to city center

OK as a hotel for the airport. Just accross the road.

Breakfast was Very Good.

Evening Buffet (Roast beef) was terrible! Pity as Scotland has some of the best beef in the world. This was tough and tastless. What a pity.

Hotel bar OK. Food good but a little expensive.

Rooms are OK.

Hotel fine for 1 night.

Excellent accommodation, very clean and great views of the airport.

Beds are very comfy and room are very clean and excellent modern decor.

We stayed 2 nights here at the end of July and didn't find it that bad at all. The rooms were clean and it's ideally located for the airport and taxis. The breakfast was a tad expensive but it always is in these type of hotels. I think that for regular tourists i.e. not business travellers, this hotel is fine (to put this into perspective, we would say that this hotel is better than The Hilton at Gatwick airport!).
