This hotel is right next door to Glasgow International Airport (less than a minute walk). It doesn't look the poshest from the outside but is actually very nice inside. It has a very nice restaurant and the staff are pleasant. The rooms are quite small but really nice. If you want to go out for a meal, Paisley is 25 minutes walk or a couple of minutes by taxi (around £2) or you can take a train to Paisley and catch the train to Glasgow for more choice of eateries. This hotel is very convenient to stay in if you are flying out from Glasgow early in the morning.

On arrival I cut my foot on broken glass on the carpet. Two lamps were not functioning - one had no bulb and the other had a broken bulb which cut my thumb. The carpet was vacuumed after complaint. but staff had difficulty in finding light bulbs. Dinner expensive and unappetizing. Worst stay ever in a Holiday Inn. Having been injured because of the poor condition of the room and having left a completed customer feedback form with reception I expected to be contacted by the hotel management. It was only after I registered my concerns through the Holiday Inn website that I received a response and that was inadequate.

Stayed here in April 2008 having flown up on a trip to look at rental properties. I had three year old and 10 week old daughters and spent a lot of time in the hotel with them while husband was working.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast time someone always came to take the baby for a wander to allow me time to eat my breakfast and sort out the toddler. Kids eat free so we had no worries about choosing something she wouldn't eat. Again at dinner the baby was cuddled and cooed at and generally entertained to allow us time to eat and talk.

We had a fantastic view of the runway and with the aid of Teletext managed to identify lots of planes and ther destinations. Granny and grandad came over to visit and stayed one night too at late notice and it was no trouble at all.

The staff made a potentially stressful trip a real pleasure.

Typical chain hotel at Glasgow airport ideally situated right across the road from arrivals & departures area - literally 2 minutes walk.
Room not particularly big. Air conditioning/heating unit in room unusable because far too noisy - it rattled. Also a whining noise - probably some fans somewhere nearby was distracting at night. My wife was disappointed there was no free shower cap - Oh well each to her own!
Bar meals a bit pricey but what you expect.
Not much else to say really.
We paid £56.25 for a double for 2 people booked direct through Holiday Inn website a couple of months in advance - non refundable. Not bad value for an airport hotel.
