The other reviews here are spot on, this is a very reasonably priced bed and breakfast, in a great location. It's a 5-10 min walk to the station (Hyndland) which is only a few stops from the center.

The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, the room was large and the bed comfortable.
The continental breakfast was very generous, all in all - a great experience.

Would definitely stay here again!

A very nice host, Ron, fantastic breakfast and a nice house in Victorian spirit - what more could you ask for? We had two rooms for a few days in late July and August and the whole family was very satisfied. Only a few stops from Glagow Central or Queen Street Station makes the location to be quite ok as well!

Ron, the host, was very friendly & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were large enough & beautifully decorated. Very clean.

Stayed here for 4 nights on business as I wanted to keep the costs down. I stayed in a spacious and very clean twin room for £30 a night, considering that a Travelodge would generally cost the same the two are worlds apart.

My only minor gripe was that the extractor fan in my room made a racket when the high winds blew back which woke me up twice one night, but hey if that's the only niggle for £30 a night then the place is near perfect.

Good location and right next to two train stations, breakfast is superb too. I agree with previous reviewers, Ron loves to talk and promote the delights of Glasgow and its history but he's well intentioned and an mine of information.

In short the place is great.

Its just as the other reviews say - friendly welcome, clean pleasant surroundings, copious continental breakfast and all at a reasonable price.

The railway is just round the corner with another one 5 minutes away and its very cheap to get into town by train. Ron has lots of information if you need it and welcomes you like a friend. Great place.
