We recently stayed at the Kelvingrove during our wedding and honeymoon trip. The rooms were excellent, the breakfasts were superb, and I just can't say enough about the staff. They were extremely helpful and often went out of their way to make our stay better. Although it was a bit of a walk to the shopping area, the tour bus stopped right outside the hotel and it was very conveniently located for sightseeing. The hotel was beautifully tended and again, the staff very friendly and helpful. If I ever return to Glasgow, I will definitely stay at the Kelvingrove!

We just returned from a family vacation to Britain. I had found
Kelvingrove on this site and was impressed with the reviews. The management
was extremely helpful while booking and as we were travelling with our
10 yr old son, we needed a "family room". The room was a great size and
was extremely comfortably with room to spread out. The breakfast room was bright and airy and I looked forward to that delicious breakfast to start the day.
The location is superb for walking to local sights with some excellent restaurants within a 3 block radius. We would definately recommend this hotel to anyone and will return there on our next visit. As with so many hotels being
expensive, the Kelvingrove is a gem in a reasonable price range and the owners know what they are doing.
