We stayed at the Kelvingrove In July. Our family group of four got our first impression of Glasgow on our way to the hotel. Looking lost with map in hand, a friendly Scot rolled down his window and said, "Are you lost? Follow me." He took us straight to the door of the Kelvingrove. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful as well. We received help with our luggage, suggestions for restaurants and loved the option of having our breakfast delivered to our room. Our family room was in the basement. It was roomy, clean and very lavendar. There was an unexpected tiny kitchen area equipped with fridge, stove, and microwave which would be great for an extended stay. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The water pressure was really hard, almost uncomfortable. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, just ask. This staff truly cares about your comfort and your stay with them.
