“Very classy hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

Stayed here recently with my daughter on a visit to Glasgow and was very impressed with the hotel. The bedrooms are very classy and the beds themselves very comfortable. We stayed in the executive room which had 2 queen sized beds and I had a great nights sleep. The bathroom is also lovely with a lovely shower and Aveda toiletries.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and my daughter were impressed with the hotel and would definitely stay here during any future visits to Glasgow.
It is also very convenient to get to from the airport using the shuttle bus. Get off the bus at the Bothwell St Central Station stop and it is about a 5 minute walk from there to the hotel.

Room Tip: We found the Executive room to be an excellent choice. It had everything you would need including a...

My friend and I stayed here on a two night deal which included dinner on the first night. The hotel is in a great location. Centrally located and near to numerous bars and restaurants. Our executive room was a little tight for space but did have two extremely comfortable double beds and a lovely shower. The room was very clean with nice décor.
Dinner on the first night was very tasty. We had to ask to be moved to a better seat and this was done (albeit grudgingly).
Our first mornings breakfast was ok as the dining room was by then very quiet. Not a huge choice but tasty enough. The next morning (Saturday) was pretty awful. They were obviously short staffed and we had to wait at least 15 minutes to be seated. The couple after us waited nearly 30 minutes and the husband was clearly disabled and was using two sticks. At no point did anyone even acknowledge them. A number of diners complained and I have noted complaints from previous reviews.
On a plus point when we left the guy on reception (I think his name was Colm) was lovely. He carried our luggage to the waiting taxi and was really friendly.
I would stay here again for the location and stylish rooms but would probably go room only and eat out nearby.

Room Tip: Might be worth asking for a room at the back as can be pretty noisy. Worth going for a suite if spec...

Dear Lindsey O,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay. It is unfortunate the service in the restaurant prevented you from fully enjoying your time at the hotel. Stayed here this week on business after really enjoying a stay there pre Christmas. This time it was a complete disappointment! Service at breakfast was terrible, left after 40 minutes waiting, lack of staff was the issue, no juice, fruit and backlog of orders-come on Indigo sort it out
Wi fi signal also poor again needs attention . DISAPPOINTED

Hotel is very well situated in the city, bar prices inline with local bars and staff all very friendly, speedy check in and spotless room. Would defiantly stay here again. Did not visit the leisure facility but was there if needed, food looked great, part of the intercontinental brand this is by far the best brand they have.

Great location only a few blocks from Sauchiehall Street. Modern, clean rooms with enough space to fit plenty of luggage (which we needed!)

Room service is a tad pricey but is pretty good quality and a great option as most of the bars and pubs kitchens in the area close around 8 or 9pm

We arrived here after an international flight, tired and luggage-laden. Staff at the front desk opened the door as we disembarked from the taxi and helped shift our luggage inside (when was the last time that happened?!?!), and then checked us in quick smart. Our room was quite spacious, plenty of room to spread all our myriad of bags about, and still move around the room without risking limbs! Lovely big rain shower, super comfy bed, and the lovely touch of a free mini bar! Very very nice, highly recommend!

Spent a night there with my wife during Celtic connections. Very professional and friendly staff. Nice room, great location and a decent breakfast. Will definitely stay again and would easily recommend to friends and family.
