“A stand out restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

I have been working in Glasgow for the last 6 months and so have sampled many of the city's restaurants, I really felt that Opium stands our. Superb oriental cuisine in a convenient location. Strongly recommend duck & also kung pao chicken.

Had a slight hiccup on one occasion where my booking was misinterpreted and made for the wrong time; thankfully in this case was resolved by the restaurant.

“Very nice but needs a better dessert menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

I won a voucher for here in a raffle so I took two of my friends for lunch. It was very nice, they didn't give you a knife and fork but you could ask for one I decided to start practicing with chop sticks was fun. It was very well priced and really tasty. The only thing I would say is their dessert menu is small and not very impressive. But all in all was a lovely meal with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.
