“Excellent multi-tasking staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Friendly welcome at reception and then excellent service at dinner which was very good. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Room was clean and large and bed comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced hotel near Glasgow Airport.

Nice little hotel on the outskirts of Glasgow. It's not right at the airport but offers a transfer for its guests. The rooms are spacious and clean, the decoration is modern but cosy. The car park is big and there's public transport just further down the road (towards IKEA). The staff is helpful and friendly just the restaurant is a bit too small when the hotel is fully booked or there's a tour group in.

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted - a quick stopover on our way up to Skye. We arrived late and left early so didn't have any food so can't comment on that. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, the beds were really comfy and the shower cubicle was the biggest I've ever seen! The bonus was being allowed to bring our dog and a lot cheaper than other hotels we looked at!

Needed hotel for 1 night close to the airport. The hotel was good value, warm, comfortable and clean. Minor criticism was squeaky floors.
I was on the ground floor and my bedroom faced the Alex Ferguson Football pitch, it was a bit offputting with spectators and ball boys standing outside the bedroom window
I didn't have breakfast
Will stay again

Our first day in the UK we were jet-lagged and fell into our single beds for a quick nap...glad we set the alarm because those beds were comfortable. The room is not fancy nor is the hotel itself but the staff make up for its shortcomings. The reception staff gave advice on transportation and called cabs plus chatted with us. The conversation led to our surname and whether it was Scottish or Irish...the gentleman thought it was Scottish. Later that night we had an envelope delivered under our door and it was from this same gentleman from Reception admitting he was wrong, that our name indeed originated in Ireland. How sweet that he cared that much about a small detail.
Loved the shower and access to a "cuppa" tea/coffee in the room (this became a tradition in all of the UK hotels we stayed in...some with biscuits, some without).
Breakfast in the dining room was buffet style and offered hot and cold (not included in our room rate) plus delicious cafe-style coffee.
It is not that close to the airport and we couldn't find the phone link at the airport to request a shuttle to the hotel so we paid for a cab (10 Pounds).
Not a 4star hotel but what it lacks in looks and surrounding area, it makes up for in staff and character. I'd stay again.

just stayed at this hotel on our way to spain, did the stay, park and fly booking, the member of staff who handled our booking was very helpfull, when we arrived and went to our room it was very tidy and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect , after getting a quick shower and tidy up,decided on dinner at the hotel,my wife decided to go for the hamburger and salad, after about 20 minutes the waitress decided to inform us the hamburgers were finished this was only 7pm on a saturday night ,so went instead for the crab pate and again this was finished, she ended up having a plate of chips, she was at best very annoyed,we also decided to book an early morning alarm call (4am),if i was still there i would still be waiting for the alarm call that never came, had back up on my phone but not really the point, its not all that close to the airport either.MUST TRY HARDER.

Room Tip: any room as they are all the same.
