I stayed here over night as I was attending a late night concert nearby and the Jury's hotel I normally stay at was fully booked so this was my nearest option!!
Never stayed at a Premier one before and I would defiantly would go back and try another Premier Inn elsewhere. Its in a superb location, some traffic noise can be heard as its on a v.busy main road. The shops and train stations are close by and all within walking distance. Plenty of taxi's, buses going past the hotel if you don't want to walk.
Our room no 502 was large, clean, warm and comfortable with the usual mod cons that you would expect. The bed was huge and comfy. Very good value for money.
Only complaint was the shower pressure wasn't the best and the temperature fluctuated a bit as well . There was a number of us that had to get our key cards re-activated as they didn't work first time so we all had to head back down to the lobby.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your kind response. I always think the King size beds are a pleasant surprise to most customers & I personally enjoy the Hypnos mattress.
We will continue to do our very best to maintain our high standards & seek to improve the guest experience.
Kind regards
Colin Richards

had never stayed in a Premier Inn, but we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean, modern and tidy, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good choice of breakfast and location close enough to the city centre and SECC. Not sure why others have commented on the area as we experienced no problems whatsoever and navigating around the city was easy (first time in Glasgow).

Would definitely consider staying again and in any other Premier Inn for that manner if they all are the same standard.

Great for the price...recommended.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay. It is always nice to get comments from guests who are new to the Premier Inn product & I am delighted we met your expectations.
Please note we currently have 5 properties in NI, two in Belfast city centre, as I note you were over from Carrick.
Kind regards
Colin Richards

This is a clean and tidy non expensive hotel right in the city centre, with friendly staff an excellent breakfast and pleasant surroundings, your room key card works in the lift above floor one which I thought was novel.

Many thanks for your comments. I suppose its always nice to hear positive feedback regarding things which you are trying to improve. The security feature in the lifts has been well received by everyone but its also great that you acknowledge our breakfast. We are constantly looking to make improvements to enhance the guest stay.
Kind regards

I was staying in Glasgow for New Years eve 2009, and we needed a cheap hotel in a central location, and I was plesantly suprised with this hotel!

I did not book untill well into November, and was expecting to pay atleast £100 a night (we have done New Years eve in Edinburgh before and getting a cheap central hotel any time after June is impossible!), but got it for £75!

Hotel is very clean, rooms very comfertable, and location is very central (just 2 minutes walk from Central Station and the city centre!)

Was offered breakfast, but at £7.50 each (even though its all you can eat) it still seems a bit steap (considering there is a Tesco's across the road, and KFC, McD's and Burger King not far away!

If need to stay in Glasgow again, then I will stay here for sure!

  • Liked — Location and how clean it is!
  • Disliked — Price of breakfast

Many thanks for your comments. All the Premier Inn team continue to pride ourselves on the quality of our rooms and thankfully independent reviews and our customers have noticed.
We also continue to make progress in other areas and our breakfast is also such an area. More products have been added to complement the full cooked breakfast and we have also added on the VAT savings to our guests.
As an avid Tartan Army member it would be a pleasure to invite you back for the next Scotland game.
