After not being able to get a good deal at the Holiday Inn, decided to try the Premier Inn as it was really handy for shopping along Argyle Street. The bar and the food served was great. Problems arose when I tried to sleep. Was constantly woken up due to the subway which must travel underneath the hotel althought his only happened from early morning till late night.
Would be a great place if you need a handy room for the night if you are having anight out in Glasgow but if you are there for a nice relaxing time, sadly don't expect to get a great sleep.

I spent two nights here. The hotel is on the fringe of the city centre. A five minute walk gets you into the entertainment and shopping area. The area is fairly quiet after dark so had a good night. The hotel has a small bar and restaurant which were adequete.

Chose this location because of it's proximity to the train station and was no disappointed! Was a 2 minute walk from Central train station and was still within walking distance from the Victoria station, although it was a bit farther away. Also, there is a Tesco Express located only a street away. Rooms and bathroom very very clean, the front desk staff was exceptionally helpful. This hotel has a security locked room so if you arrive before check in you can leave your bags free of charge, or they will hold your bags for you after check out.

We were pleasantly surprised during our stay here. The staff were very courteous and attentive, the rooms were spotless with massive beds. The restaurant is well worth a visit with good value for money. The location is perfect for all Glasgow city centre has to offer. We will without doubt use this hotel on our next visit !!!

I paid £66 for a double room which included breakfast. The hotel is in a great location, 400 yards from Central Station, opposite a wetherspoons pub. The staff were friendly and polite. There was a coffee shop on the ground floor by the reception, and a bar on the first floor. The room was a nice size and clean. The bed was comfy but was 2 singles pushed together. The breakfast was help yourself and plenty to choose from. My room was at the back so I couldn't hear any noise from the main street. I would recommend to others and would stay again.
