I have used this hotel on a number of different occasions and have had a good experience and a nightmare trip. I must be honest the nightmare was the fact they were holding the Scottish chambers of commerce’s dinner on the evening I arrived and I got caught up in the 1000+ people descending on the hotel all by car based on the wait I had getting checked in.
The hotel is pleasant enough and has 3 different restaurants to choose from but I am not sure why but I always feel there is something missing when I stay at a Hilton hotel. The service I can't fault but maybe it is the decor they use I am not sure but Hiltons don't make me feel at home. The breakfast is what you would expect from a Hilton and the staff I have always found to be very attentive and pleasant. I agree the location is not the best and I would recommend you spend the extra money and stay at the Radisson, which is far better, positioned in the city and is worthy of its 5 star status.
