Enjoyed a 2 night stay here with one of the special rates for B&B. Requested a high floor room as the views over Glasgow are just amazing. The lifts are "express" lifts and boy did i get a fright at first but what fun! The breakfasts are amazing, friends of ours stayed for Dinner and apparantly it was amazing also.
The only let down is the car parking, it's costly and the car park is under the hotel and not very spacious. If you're lucky you might see the odd footballer there, i shared a lift with a Celtic player...although had to have this pointed out to me after.
All in all, this is a fabulous hotel with friendly staff and if you get a special rate then go book it now!!!

We stayed for one night in this hotel on our way up to Scotland for a fortnight in the mountains. Parking is a little tricky and quite expensive (£10 per night), although it is at least on site.

One thing you should be aware of is that parking is limited to somewhere in the region of 170 spaces and that visitors to the restaurants and bars can use the parking. Priority is not given to hotel guests.

The room itself was very nice, as was the bathroom. Very spacious both, and had a great view from the 16th floor. We ordered room service, which whilst the portions were large, they were very expensive and extremely salty. Not really recommended.

The breakfast was included in our rate, and was worth every penny. The choice was enormous and was all extremely tasty.

Overall I enjoyed the hotel and thought it represented pretty good value and convenience, but I wouldn't say that it was a 5* hotel - simply a good 4*.

My wife and I paid 79.99 pounds per night in advance (no refunds) for a 2 night minimum stay in a Queen guestroom. The package included breakfast both days and dinner for one night. The food was buffet style and was decent. The staff was very friendly. Based on all of this, we were happy with the stay.

However, I would not consider this a five star hotel as it is referred to on different websites, mainly because the rooms were fairly dated. If we had paid the regular room price with the expectation of a five-star room, we'd have been very disappointed.

Stayed just for one night after a days shopping in Glasgow. It was a nice enough hotel, the rooms were clean and roomy (bed a little hard though). The breakfast was good. £6 for a gin and tonic at the bar so pricey, never eat in the restarunt as again very expensive but just as you would expect for a 5star hotel. Swimming pool was fine. Pleasant stay but nothing amazing.
