“Smart city hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Stayed here for an awards night. Room was on the 14th floor. Very spacious clean and comfortable . There was slight staining on carpet and walls slightly scuffed, just general wear and tear which you would expect from a busy hotel. Also you had to jiggle the wires in the back of TV to get it working. I am sure if we had complained it would have been rectified.
One thing I would say is the staff are all very pleasant and polite, could not fault any of them.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Yes you have to serve your own toast, tea and coffee etc, but that is no problem and I actually prefer it that way.

I have not long checked in for a 1 night stay, last minute for a work event. Room could do with a little maintenance but I got a disounted price so can't really complain. I have neved reviewed a hotel online but the amazing service an attitude at reception compelled me to sign up just to write this. I arrived freezing cold (snowing outside) and wandered up to reception. Receptionist could not have been any friendlier and seemed genuinely interested in what I was spending my time here doing. She realised I was freezing cold and suggested she could get a heater sent up to my room to warm me up. By far the best welcome I've ever had at any hotel. Makes a pleasant change to the usual monotone attitiudes you get in most places. I was surprised myself what a difference it makes, it really perks you up! She gave an excellent first impression and even though the room could do with some mild maintenance (dent in toilet door, lock hanging off) the staff and service more than made up for it. I work in customer service and would hire your reception staff tomorrow. They are an absolute credit to the hotel and I got the impression that nothing would be a problem and they would bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Awesome - and it's all down to the staff who work there.

I love hotels but hate when I have paid 100 pounds for a room to be told there are not enough parking spaces and to add insult to injury parking is 12 pound extra. Told my points of view to reception only to be told the parking is a first come first served bases. For the price I paid I felt ripped off. However cannot fault the room it is very clean and beautiful, the pools nice too however due my experience here they will not have my custom again

Stayed at the Hilton a few weeks ago when going to see Girls Aloud. Paid a great price for the room which included breakfast and couldn't fault it. Rooms were spotless and extremely spacious with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was also amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful, Location was great also - 10 minutes into the main shopping area. Couldn't fault it and would definitely return!

I stayed here on a Business Trip for four Nights. First Impression, Hotel Looks Great Inside Out, But the reception staff were not very Helpful. Room was good and Breakfast was even Better.
Very Impressed with service at Connich Bar, But had few Bad experiences at Leisure Club and with Hotel Reception Staff. On Whole had a nice few days, would be visiting in future again...

Room Tip: Great Location and Good Service.

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights and we experienced all what you would expect from Hlton.

Very friendly welcome, clean and good size room, great breakfast and perfect location on top of it.

Next time in Glasgow we will stay in the Hilton again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the weekend. Had a lovely stay with frienly staff and excellent food. Could not fault this hotel at all and the obviously well trained polite staff are a credit to Hilton. Wiould definately recommend this hotel for a Glasgow city break.
