Checked in at 11pm - had to wait 20 minutes for a room to be made up however we got free drinks in the bar which was a bonus.
I used to stay at this hotel with my Dad 20 years ago, it seemed a quieter beck then - now it always seems pretty busy when i visit - I think they are catering to the masses - which puts me off a little.
They've done up their breakfast restaurant area which is good however you now have to get your own toast/tea/coffee which adds the foot fall to the buffet and time it takes to get your breakfast together. Anything to save a pennies for Hilton I guess.
Gym needs a refurb. Rooms are in good shape - overall a little on the pricey side now compared to what other hotels are on offer in the area.
