I stayed here about a month ago for my boyfriends' graduation ball.
The hotel didn't look particularly impressive from the outside, but I was pleasantly suprised by the interior.
The linking corridor from the carpark to the Reception had doors which opened automatically about 20 before you were at the door - a little creepy but a nice touch.

Reception was spacious, and despite a brief mix up where the receptionist couldn't find our booking the whole check-in was relatively fuss free.

The room was immaculate, modern and huge! Although we live in Glasgow we were pleased to find lots of literature on the attractions in Glasgow and surrounding areas. The bathroom was also stunning, loved the bathrobes and lovely selection of soaps & things.
We missed the meal down in the banquet hall so retreated back to order Room Service which was quite tastey but nothing to write home about.
The bar was quite dear but most hotel bars are a bit pricey and for a special occassion we kind of over looked it. Saff at Reception were very helpful later in the evening providing sewing kits for a friend who burst their dress.

Overall our stay was perfect, the room was beautiful and I would love to have that bathroom in my own house!! The view from the room (11th floor) was great, and only improved at night when all the buildings were lit up - stunning.

If I have the chance to go back I definitely will.

Stayed 5 nights at the hotel and enjoyed ourselves. The room was fairly new, equipped with the basics. View overlooking our room (river clyde) was fantastic. The service at the reception, concierge and restaurant was pretty good as well...though i had a difficult time trying to catch the scottish slang :) Breakfast was pretty decent...with a wide selection of cereals and other english breakfast items. The only bad thing is the distance from the city (you may opt to take the train instead) and the rooms without LCD TV.

We have just returned from an overnight stay at The Crowne Plaza in Glasgow and were very dissapointed with the service received at reception. As a Priority Club member I booked our weekend stay several months in advance expecting a room to be available on arrival. Checking in at 2.10pm we were informed that our room was not ready and that we should return in 10 mins. After 15 mins I returned to reception and was assured that our room would be ready in another 5 mins. I couldn't believe the response I received on my 3rd visit to reception. "Come back in 1/2 an hour and your room may be ready". As this was all going on others were being booked into their allocated rooms, Throughout our attempts to check in we informed the reception staff that the treatment we were receiving was not good enough as we had a pre-arranged appointment in Glasgow at 3pm. To this we were told that we could freshen up in the toilets and leave our luggage with the concierge. As we were in the process of depositing our luggage with the concierge we were suddenly informed that miraculously a room we could use had been located. I just do not understand why this could not have been resolved in the first instance without putting myself and family through the ordeal of having to make numerous visit to reception while others were being checked in on their first visit.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow for Take That at Hampden. I received a call from the hotel around a week before my stay to offer a coach service to the concert and back. FANTASTIC! Thank you so much, very well organised and really took the hassle out of traveling to Hampden ourselves.
As always the hotel is beautiful. Very modern. Hotel rooms are spacious and modern. Hotel lobby, bars and restaurants are fantastic and great value.
As a Manager of a Travel Agent, Crowne Plaza Glasgow is my number one choice for a great value, modern hotel with fantastic service from all staff for me and my customers.
