A Wonderful place! My partner and I were in Glasgow visiting from Texas. We were there for the wedding of our friends daughter. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were first class and the breakfast was incrediable. The staff was always willing to help with questions on where to go and what to do. The people of Glasgow were also very friendly.....just stand there with a map in your hand looking confused and 10 people will stop and ask if you need help. Thank you Belhaven and the citizens of Glasgow for a wonderful vacation.

I recently spent 7 days in Glasgow and stayed at the Belhaven for my entire trip. What a gem! The hotel in within walking distance to the underground and many main bus routes so getting around is no problem! The rooms are well appointed and have a very warm atmosphere, and the staff at the Belhaven are wonderful. Everyone was such a delight to deal with and more than willing to help you out in any way possible! I'll definitely be staying here again when I return to Glasgow next year.

My husband and I recently decided to have a weekend 'away from it all' and decided to stay in the West End of Glasgow. There is so much to do that we wished we had been there for a week. We booked the Belhaven, not knowing much about it, but we certainly were not disappointed. The staff and owners were wonderful, and looked after our every need. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The room was lovely and clean and airy and had everything that we needed. The breakfast was outstanding. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone, it really was an excellent trip.

I searched the internet long and hard for places to stay before my first big trip overseas (woman travelling alone) and I came up trumps when I decided on The Belhaven Hotel in Glasgow. The room was huge and very tastefully decorated. The service was friendly and helpful and the porter even searched on the internet for me for the local train timetable so I could do some day tripping in Edinburgh. And the location in the West End....just around the corner from Byers Rd which has everything, just can't be beat. I highly recommend this place!

In a converted terrace house in Glasgow's west end, this little hotel tries very hard to please and, overall, does a good job. We (2 couples) had nice big rooms with two big, comfy beds in each room. The baths were a bit tight and we had a hand-held shower in ours which made for interesting renditions of the nude Highland fling! The staff was helplful. We had a car but parking is very tight so be aware you might be in for a longgg walk if you return late in evening. Within a 5-8 minute walk from Byres St., it wasn't too much of a hardship to walk to subway but we had fine weather!
