We've been here with the kids loads of times for pizza and love it. We went on Saturday and the barman was strangely brusque when we asked for pizza's. Turns out these are now on the bar snacks menu and are only a fiver- maybe he was a bit annoyed that we were taking up a table for such a cheap dinner!
Anyway, the pizza's were great and the waitress was totally lovely. There's been the odd mess up with food when we've been before, but the staff always charming and quick to remedy the situation. The slight eccentricity is part of it's appeal for me. We didn't see the squid on the menu that we usually have, but it turns out that this too is now on the bar snacks menu.
That would be my only slight gripe- the bar snacks menu sounds great, but you aren't given one if you are at a table. We would definitely ordered some starters off of it, as when the waitress described them they sounded amazing. Maybe next time....
