Stayed here for one night @ £50 for work. Rooms every clean and good bathroom with lovely shower. Usual selection of TV channels for holiday inn. if this hotel fits your budget then dont hesitate to stay here. buffet continental breakfast will set you up nicely for the day. cooked breakfast not available though. great location for walking to the city centre. Also, if you want a chinese go to Mings, and if you want a pub, go to Waxy O'Connors. Great.

We were home for Christmas and booked this well in advance so got a great rate of GBP38.00 per night (non-refundable)which included the buffet continental breakfast. We ended up with Room 542 & I suggest that anyone staying here asks for this room - it's the only one with a full height window, overlooking the river.

The facilities are basic but that's what you expect. It was always clean. The biggest problem we had is that the reception area doubles as a bar and so stinks of ciggarette smoke - role on March I say.

There was also the fact that our stuff had been opened / moved about by those cleaning the room. Apparently it's an outside firm and not employed direct by the hotel. The staff were sympathetic when we spoke to them about it but we received no feedback from them.

In summary, the hotel is great if you know what to expect (ie clean, basic standard) and was great as a base for getting out an about in Glasgow.

My wife and I arrived here as last minute refugees fleeing a disastrous experiment with a different hotel. The Holiday Inn therefore came as an extremely welcome return to normality.

The rooms were perfectly clean, the view from the room was great, and the staff were both efficient and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast, which was cold and of dubious freshness.

Stayed for one night , (night of 50 cent concert) had fun ! ! hotel was not as clean as it should be !! bathroom a bit drab and furnishings could be better . Breakfast is poor !! , but then again paid 55 quid for three people ! bargain!
