So close to the centre of Glasgow - a short train ride for us to Pollockshaws West Station - whilst staying in the city for a few nights. A real breath of fresh air and so peaceful after the busy city. Visted the Burrell Collection, interesting collection of artifacts, pictures and sculpture ancient and modern, and Pollock House (National Trust of Scotland) with it's Spanish pictures and interesting rooms. Followed by a welcome cuppa and piece of cake in the tea shop/restaurant!
