“Culture boost!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

First time back at Kelvingrove for a while and without the kids so able to take our time to wander round all the exhibits. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and seeing some of the changes. Could not pick a favourite part as such a diverse place but paintings a must. Glad to see the Dali back but not sure about the new exhibition area. Was fine when we were there but could be difficult when the place is busy. Only really negative comment I would have would be the cafe.....think it lets the place down. It is a world class gallery and museum and the cafe should be better. Paper cups and a pokey wee service area and not very nice table and chairs...? I forgot there was a restaurant downstairs and once I did remember it was hard to find. Needs better signage. We did enjoy the organ recital which was a bonus to our visit. But overall a great place to spend a few hours.

“Dali exhibit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

Went specifically to see the Dali painting. Even with directions it was hard to find, almost in a large cupboard! Museum doing a survey as to where visitors thought it should be placed as it is an important exhibit.

We only went to the museum to see this one painting, and due to time restrictions we only briefly had time to see exhibits on the ground floor and the 1st floor balcony.

We were advised by the hop-on hop-off bus driver to go into the front entrance of the museum. I think it was stop 19. This took you straight up to the entrance.

“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

This outside of this museum alone is worth a walk around. Such a magnificent structure and with changing exhibits is a great way to spend a day....especially a rainy one. Spent hours looking at all the exhibits and enjoying the majesty of this beautiful building. Well worth the time
