“Great acoustics”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

At the top of Buchanan St. So very accessible to public transport.
This is a first class concert hall by any standards and attracts a wide range of artists.

There is also a very good cafe/restaurant which is open to all

“Great venue”

Good Sound and Vision from any position. Impressive purpose built building in the heart of the city. Really is the place to "Hear" your music.

“Great accoustics”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

We visited this theatre for the Solid 60s concert. Very good show emphasising the great accoustics of the hall. Althoug the theatre was pretty well packed, the sloping lay-out of the stalls section allows lots of leg room which tends not to be available in some of the older theatres. We were back in row N and had a perfect view of the stage. Definitely a comfortable theatre to see a show.

“Great Venue, Most friendliest staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

We where in the Glasgow Royal Concert hall as my Partner was graduating with his degree and so it was a big family gathering. Went a few hours ahead to register and collect the robe. We required extra tickets a few days previously as i said it was a big gathering and the staff are extremely helpful in getting the tickets arranged for us and was the most patient staff i have ever met as we where travelling with the 94 year old nana as her mobility is is restricted while walking the staff where so kind in making sure that we got two seats at the end of the row for easy access and also helped her up and down the stairs, BIG THUMBS UP. And the hall is massive with comfy seats and good lighting so you don't miss any of the action happening on stage. The graduation was lovely itself and great to say my partner get the degree he worked hard at. Lots of proud people there and the ambience was fanstatic!! Even if it did go on for over 3 hours but heyy they where giving out free champagne after the ceremony so that cushioned the blow. Also as you might of imagined we took a lot of photos and we where the very last people out the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall that's no joke as soon as we left the Building and the lights closed CLONK the wholes lights where out. Amazing night and most memorable and the staff made the night even more better with their extreme kindness towards my nana. Thank You.
