“Can't believe we hadn't gone sooner.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

Been living in Glasgow for 6 years and always just took the GSA for granted. Finally did the tour and was really impressed. It's a stunning building on the outside but the detail and design inside is inspiring. The library is the highlight and its a beautiful room and the perfect depiction of Makintosh's modernism and eye for detail.
Our guide Georgia was really enthusiastic, well spoken and informed and did a great job in taking us round the building.
If your just visiting Glasgow it's a must and if you live here then get yourself a long too!

“ken and linda”

Was visiting with my Niece who wants to study art. The building was amazing and the students were clearly in awe of the designer.

“A functioning, total work of art”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

This building is a living example of how good design is ageless. I highly recommend booking a place on the tours accompanied by one of the students as you will be charmed by their enthusiasm and impressed by their knowledge of the man and the building. You will be stunned and amazed by the genius of Rennie Macintosh. Don’t miss it!

“A gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

The guided tour is well worth booking in advance. The journey round the building was accompanied by an intelligent and knowledgeable guide. The guides are usually students at the School of Art. Nothing to dislike other than when the tour ends. Beautiful place.

“Limited access but still something to behold”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Thus is a functioning college so there wasn't carte blanche access but the building entrance and rooms on the lower floor are amazing. There was also an exhibit of students work which we were lucky enough to see
