My husband booked this amazing hotel as a birthday treat - we discovered it on the internet and are so glad we did - definately book a return visit. Discreet Townhouse Hotel where you have to ring the front door bell to get in and are greeted by a porter. The drawing rooms are just amazing and this is where you "check in" before being taken up to your room. The hotel is a classic Victorian building but has every mod con you would expect from a modern hotel. I had the best swedish massage ever - done privately in your room by the hotel therapist. Fruit bowls delivered free with the massage, fully stocked mini bars with Fiji mineral water! Real Scottish Fudge and tablet left in your room by Turndown maid - but the real nice touch was the rose petals and candles left by the bath. Very romantic. Dinner was everything we could hope for - attention to detail and service from a very discreet staff made us feel a million dollars! If you are really lucky, you may even spot a few celebrities! Would thoroughly reccomend this 5 star experience.

This hotel is stunning but the rooms are limited so please go elsewhere. I visit Glasgow regularly and do not want to find that I cannot have my favourite room in my favourite hotel in the UK because you have decided to try it out on some casual recommendation from a web site. There are lots of other hotels in the area. Some are probably quite nice, try them!
