Situation of the hotel could not have been better for access to some serious shopping.
Downsides
Decor was a little tired and my bed room small had I been with my partner.
Breakfast was a little on the basic side but it was nice to be able to help yourself.
Quite noisy at weekend until early hours (but then what should you expect in the middle of a city over a pub).
Wireless internet available but signal really weak in room.
Up sides:
Great atmosphere, v.friendly & helpful staff, Menu reasonably priced & evening meals were delicious.
Independent entrance from pub
Breakfast served late at weekends.
Lots of leaflets & info available for tourists
V. clean room and cleaned daily.
Hotel reasonably priced
Easy stay and friendly atmosphere, particularly if you are travelling alone.

Room Tip: Ask if they can give you the quietest room.

had a lovely meal in Rab Ha s, the food is delicious, i had haggis, neeps, potatoes, hubby had cullen skink, seafood dish, both came home, absolutely full, we will definitely go back, not too big, but has a nice atmosphere, and the young lady who served us was very nice.....

If you are looking for a central Glasgow room, with breakfast and the option for an evening meal, look no further. Yes, Rab Ha's is a bit rough round the edges and there can be a bit of noise from outside in the middle of the night, but it is clean, reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. I'll certainly be returning to Rab Ha's when I next require a room in Glasgow.

These are 4 rooms above a pub and restaurant kitchen. There may be noise from the pub whch closed at midnight on the night I stayed , or from what I took to be the extractor from the kitchen below.
I was given a welcome and information about the galleries from the proprietor. The room attempts a modern decor but it is never going to be possible to make a thin black carpet look clean. Sheets, towels and the shower were all good.
I wanted to hit the ground running the following morning and as breakfast would not be available until 9.15, I elected for a tray. The 'continental breakfast' consisted of bread products, butter and jam with an apple and a banana thrown in. I expected more than this, particularly in view of the attached restaurant.
All in all, I felt that Rab Ha's was overpriced for what was on offer.

I stayed in Rab Ha's last night. Checking in was fine and the set up is a little quirky due to being a restaurant, bar and hotel. My room was upgraded as they weren't fully booked. Really lovely touch, thank you.
I think the food in the bar downstairs was lovely, i had the pie and it was delicious. The staff where also super friendly.
But the room itself could have done with a really good clean, little things made the rooms look a mess such as paint splatters on the black carpet from when it was once painted. Rather poor finishes to all the fittings. The bathroom didn't have a plug for my electric toothbrush, just something you expect in a hotel. The kettle look disgusting and the i-pod dock had had something sticky and horrid split on it. The TV was also a little temperamental and didn't want to work at all this morning. I also didn't have any toilet paper in the room, and as there isn't a said reception I didn't want to shout over the bar to ask for some!
I really do think this place has potential to be amazing, but they need to spend some money on the rooms, get some nice fittings and some decent bed covers. I think with the rooms, start again and get a trades man in to do the work.

Very enjoyable weekend stay. Friendly helpful staff, great location a short walk from Glasgow Central station, large stylish hotel room with tea/coffee making facilities, Sky TV and ipod dock, modern bathroom with shower and heated towel rail, free wifi, relaxed continental breakfast. Stayed in Glasgow for leisure but would recommend for business trip also.

Rab Ha's is a cosy and comfortable hotel in the Merchant city, which is a great part of Glasgow.
The room was clean and warm and well equipped. The Hotel bar had a great atmosphere, the prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly.
There's loads of places within walking distance but we were happy sitting in the bar, watching America think they were going to win the Ryder Cup. Easy Ryder broom broom!! We will stay here again.
