“Love!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

Stayed here about 6 times now and still love it. Rooms are small but really modern with a massive bed which is so comfortable! In the heart of Glasgow so no need for taxis. Late checkouts are available when you check in and i think we paid about £15 and kept the room on till 3 in the afternoon. Lets you have a long lie without rushing in the morning.

This is our second CitizenM stay - first at the Glasgow location. The bed here was huge! The TV didn't work 2 days out of 3. The water was hot and plentiful. The towels were soft and large. Price very reasonable, with lots of breakfast alternatives very close by. Good bartender and lively late night atmosphere. No fridge here, unlike the London hotel. Not too far from the train station, and very easy to find. Fab location for shopping and theatres. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: We were assigned a room outside the elevator - probably best to avoid rooms that end in -19 due to l...

We only stayed one night and comparing the price of a room here versus other budget hotels in the area - this looked far more luxurious for the same price.

Glad we chose here - room was small but very well used space and there was enough room for everything. Decor is fantastic, with changing coloured mood lighting, electric blinds (including blackout blind), remote control air con as well. The bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable, had a really great sleep. The staff were all very friendly and informative, but still relaxed with it. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we felt we didn't really have to ask anything. Check in after 2pm was good for us - breakfast until 11am (for those who want a lie in and a cooked breakfast!) and check out at 11am. You can choose to check out later, for around £15 extra (up to 3pm) but we chose not to.

Really close to the city centre - walking distance to all shops, train stations etc.

Drinks/items bought from the canteen separately were quite expensive, but I didn't grudge it seeing as the room was such great value.

Would definitely be my first choice if staying in Glasgow again.

As a group of young adults, we were looking for somewhere that was central to the city so we would not have far to travel back after a night out. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a slight issue on where to go once we entered the building but once we decided to 'look about' we soon realised they had intended on us walking up the stairs to check in. The check in was effortless as it is all done by you. We then went to our rooms (which are stunning!) The bed is the biggest bed I have even seen and was very comfy. There is a fancy remote control that controls just about everything in the room. There is a mood setting for the lights which was something a bit different. The frosted shower was also something a little bit different and not to everyone's taste haha The only downside was our rooms for the group were separated quite a lot which spoilt the group feeling of the trip but the quirkiness of the building certainly made up for it. Overall it was a great trip and we couldn't have asked for a better location. It was a good price for the night and we would all definitely book it again.

Stayed her for one night whilst my boyfriend was here for work! Hotel is in an excellent location in central Glasgow near to both bus and train stations and all the shops! Hotel doesn't have a car park but Buchanan galleries car park is a 5 minute walk away and is discounted parking through the hotel!
Rooms are small (but comfortable), quirky and very cool! Bed is massive had an amazing nights sleep! Would stay here again for sure! Excellent hotel!!!

Bit on the different side this one, but worth a visit if on business.
Not suited for a family trip, but if on business or a couple its an excellent choice.

Good location, close to key areas of Glasgow

Efficient check in and staff.
Comfortable quiet rooms
Free (fast wifi) and films on the TV
Remote control lights and blinds add a cool factor.
No fripperies but good shower and extremely clean.

Shops too for that matter. Certainly quirky but nice to do something different. Staff were helpful, when the check in process bamboozled me, and breakfast was also surprisingly good. Imagine its a bit of a party place at the weekends but the pod like rooms were perfect for my needs. Beds very comfortable and room gadgets always fun to fiddle with.
