Had an excellent evening with husband, sons and partners at Sapporo; food very good and our chef (BIG) was very entertaining, made us laugh during all the time whilst making our food, Good value for money. Staff very friendly and attentive. This restaurant has a great atmosphere. Would certainly return and would recommend to others. We all had a very enjoyable evening.

“great entertainment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

After a day of meetings we went to this excellent restaurant for a bit of a wind down.
What a fantastic evening we had! The chefs are very skilled and entertain by juggling eggs and showing of their knife skills as they cook your meal before your eyes.
Highly recommended!

“Great place for friends to eat”

Went here with small party of seven for Early Diner. Table to ourselves, chef was great fun, food delicious (although slightly salty - personal taste). Great atmosphere, will return. Good value.

“A nice night out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

The first time we tasted Japanese food, we were on holiday in Mexico. So it was great to see the Sapporo restaurant open up in glasgow.

We went for the early diner menu, a lovely 3 course menu with plenty of choice to wet the appetite.

We were welcomed into the restaurant and had a drink at the bar, we were then seated and treated to a wonderful display of cooking and "carry on" by that evenings Chef.

The food was fantastic and plentiful, it was very deceiving, tasty and filling.

The sitting lasted about an hour and a half in a very relaxed and warm atmosphere.

The meal did not really put two much of a dent in the wallet, 2 x 3 course meals and two drinks, including and "eager ninja" cocktail.....£47.00

One thing i do disagree with is the 10% compulsory service charge, with the quality of food and hospitality, i am sure there wouldnt be many diners leaving without giving a tip, however i think that this choice should be left to the customer..

Would we go back..????

Yes we would...!!!

“Good fun but pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

It's great getting the food flung at you and the chef's are very entertaining. The food is nice but you would get better quality scran for the same price in a 'normal' Japanese restaurant.
