Spent Sunday in the Spa with a excellent lunch, washed down with a bottle of chilled Prosseco.
The Spa is the best I have experienced, beautiful relaxing surroundings and fantastic therapist..
Cannot wait to go back..hoping Santa may bring me a gift voucher to go back soon.
The hotel itself has beautiful clean rooms, a fantastic comfy bed and very relaxing bathroom...one thing missing hot towel rail..only complaint..
Resturant, dinner and breakfast first class, with a very good choice of menu, served by excellent staff..

Highly recommend Blythswood..thankyou to all the staff

Have just returned from a lovely break at Blythswood Square Hotel. We had a wonderful stay - from the wonderfully comfortable rooms to the fabulous time spent at the spa and having a relaxing treatment. The dining experience was perfect - a must is the prawn cocktail!!!
Thank you - we will return - the sooner the better.

Stayed for 1 night but arrived early to take advantage of the fabulous spa, the staff are delightful and they adjusted my treatment to cater for my wishes (and it ended up costing less) although I did book another one for the next morning because I enjoyed it so much. Had dinner in their restaurant (their signature prawn cocktail is very very popular) the meal was super. The staff are very attentive but not intrusive. All in all it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back and want to stay longer. Rooms and bed extremely comfortable.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in......outstanding spa, great thermal suite, relaxing bedrooms with such comfy beds and wonderful food - all facilities delivered by very knowledgeable and professional staff. It was quite simply the best 27 hours I have spent for a long time.....can't wait to go back !

On arrival at this hotel, there was no porter to help with the luggage. Street parking was convenient on the square. A good feature would have been if they had a doorman or a porter who would have noticed me unloading my cases from my car to help me up the stairs and through to reception. Only once I was at reception and was checked in did the concierge (perhaps looking for a tip) offer to help me with my cases to the Room. The hotel was buzzing (it was early Friday evening), the decor was very impressive both interior and exterior. The reception found my reservation quickly and arranged the registration process efficiently, she took offense at me confirming the room rate as if asking the question was beneath the level of guest they expected staying at the hotel. Also I was asked at registration if I required a morning paper, which by the sound of the question was complimentary, but showed up on my bill at checkout. The room itself was magnificent, the decoration, size, hardware, etc. was perfect. The only problem with the bathroom was that in the shower (which I found out the next morning) had no shelf or stand to place either the shampoo or the shower gel so I had to hold the toiletries in my hand the whole time I took a shower! I can't understand how a hotel which has been opened more than a year had not worked out this kink in the design! The breakfast was awesome, service, taste, quality, and variety was also first class. The room has free WiFi, and free VOD (which was not mentioned but I found out later at checkout). The overall experience could have been so much better if they paid attention to personal service, and the tone of the staff was too stuffy for my liking, I got a slight feeling that the staff were not used to a ethnic based clientele and although I couldn't call them racist, I have felt more comfortable and received better hospitality at worse hotels. All in All I would definitely stay again.
